Really funny when you realize it's a drummer crying.

I stole this from an audio production forum so I am pretty sure that is an audio engineer crying over the way the snare sounds in the final mix. I know I would cry. :D

I think it was Prince: When doves/drummers cry or something like that.

That certainly made me laugh. :thumb:

Really good studio engineers often have exceptional diplomatic skills and patience, along with operational, musical and sometimes deep technical understanding. They can bite back though.

I was on a session many years ago where the guitarist said on hearing the playback: "My guitar doesn't sound very twangy." The engineer replied: "It didn't sound very twangy when you played it."

I know about dogs hurting people, my dog literally turns and runs from the room as soon as I go anywhere near my guitar! He doesn't even wait for me to to turn the amp on. Geez.

One of my cats always comes in to listen. I am thinking of getting him a tiny lighter so he can ask for encores when I practice.

It is safer giving him a smartphone but then the cat calls the cops in the end.

    Life is good,

Dad, never had cats but only because I am highly allergic, but every dog I have ever had, has always followed me in when I practice. Most sit right by the speaker and then promptly fall asleep. Even if I am playing heavy, aggressive music.

Not sure yet what that says about my playing :(

Or what is says about the animals. Mr. Joe the Man Cat is fine with me playing high gain zippy scales or fake djent. Odd.

Cats are very practical and pragmatic animals. I am quite sure Mr. Joe would call the cops if I forget to bring home cat food.
