Is this this a World Musical Instrument Guitar? It sure looks nice. Did you buy it? Or are you thinking about buying one?

It is not mine. I just got another guitar. This is someone's guitar on the BC Rich club.

That's a real nice jazz guitar there, normally I associate BC Rich with rock guitars :)

A little too much bling for my tastes but I’m glad to see BC Rich making a comeback. That’s always been my favorite headstock shape.

I like everything about it EXCEPT the abalone binding-- gaudy as all get-out. I don't like it on the Schecter Hellraiser series or (ESP) LTD-1000 series guitars, either.

I do like the finish-- kind of reminds me of the Jake E. Lee burst finish Jackson used to do. I agree that this is their best headstock shape.

The body shape-- I like it a lot, but I don't think it is a B. C. Rich pattern. I seem to remember his son, Bernie Rico Jr. making guitars that looked a lot like that, though!

The BC Rich club hates the abalone binding. They hated the other company for making cheap imports. So when they make expensive guitars they complain?o_O They want exact copies from the 1980's only. They need to get over it and buy the new products.

They are like Gibson and Fender players. They want no changes and innovations. You can not create and innovate. Funny they get what they always wanted and complain because of the binding. I do not get it?

My BC Rich was one of these. Hot pink Warlock. The 80's was a beautiful thing, you can only truly appreciate in hindsight.

It's not just guitarists that want to complain about any slight change that actually is an improvement. Harley Davidson continues to turn out antiquated tech because of the purists that ride them. HD could be making much nicer, lighter bikes with more HP and torque as well as go farther on a single fill up if they would just grow a pair of cajones and start making water cooled engines. But people see any kind of change as a bad thing and apparently they don't want to feel like they are being left behind by the products they claim to like.

Most of the mew Harley bikes went water cooled. Not being a jerk, just FYI

Only in the heads. The cylinders and blocks are still air/oil cooled and prone to overheat. To improve output they went with a redesigned cam.

    Thanks for keeping my honest.

I tend to love the "bling" on this guitar. When I think of BC Rich, I want to see strange and unique shapes. Currently I only have one, and its a mockingbird.

They’re doing the right thing. BCR have been trouble a long time but that’s because their guitars are boring, dated and cheap.

The company can really make some beautiful instruments as above if they put their mind to it.

Looks like it would be great for folk music, too.
