I am super pleased that my Son is at a good school in a good music program and doing well The part I don't like, is him at Monks Jazz Club preparing for a gig, and I am in my little house 3hr 26min away from Monks Jazz Club.

when does he take the bandstand? - you should start driving 3 hr and 26 minutes before that time...

His school Jazz Orchestra stuff is live streamed and also recorded, so I have seen a those. The particular club he is in tonight tends to stream stuff/record stuff. I am checking to see if it will be. still sucks.

Yeah, but he's playing the gig. Man, you must be proud of your boy. You won't be able to go to all of his gigs. Especially when he's on world tours.
Not much into jazz but I’m looking forward to giving it a watch.

Yeah, he wants to play, he's playing. That's a big deal all by itself. The big "timeout" with the COVID stuff deprived me of seeing a load of events locally, and then school is a ways down the road. I enjoyed the high school jazz band shows immensely. At some point I will show up for some of them.
