Nah, I don't think he lost interest, but like many of us, was hurt by the "lost" picks. I'm sure he's proud of the PiF/PoD community, and the interest it's caused. He's not here at S-T for other reasons AFAIK, and wants this thing to come to a positive conclusion, just like us. However you look at it, this thread IS epic, and has made a huge impact on S-T. We need a "rousing finale" to say this thing is done. :D:D

Just to clarify, no, I'm not nearly as active here as I used to be; I may still pop up from time to time, but really...my plate's a little too full these days to spend hours on the interwebs arguing about, well...what were we talking about anyway?

And also, I did lose interest in the PoD when the originals disappeared...since I started the ball rolling to Mal, it seems kinda pointless (for me) to not get back the Incredible Giant Triangle Pick That Ate Chicago.

    Picks in Japan (again)

Got a letter from Denmark today ... who do I know in Denmark?!

Just kidding, Sonny! Got your letter and picks, thank you.

Well, asking Blasphemoustrat and Malikon if they are willing to finish this thing, so will post in a few days the answers.

Here's proof ... the names were blurred to protect the innocent ... and guilty.

It lives!!! I thought that this pick passing round had come to a halt because of theft.

How many of these things are going?

Is this a different thread than the one I'm involved in. At work today with no time to review until later?

    Yup!

That is the original, international "PIF" thread.

I'm kinda glad that I didn't sign on to this one now.

I'd be on an international manhunt.

Ever heard of the plectrum torture? Developed in the sixties to influence resisters.

That guy doesn't know how lucky he is.:D

Back to the U.S.A. for the Finale!

Well, the picks are on the way back to the U.S.A., specifically to Blasphemoustrat. He'll get them to Malikon.

I'm a bit shy to post my playing ... guess I've been dreading this for near three years, but it's time to man up. Did a couple dozen takes, but each got worse, so posted the first one.

The last pick is a new addition, a Graphtech TUSQ I've been using for about 6 months ... which is surprisingly durable (but sounds like glass when you drop it).

Oh, yeah ... this Pick it Forward may be taking forever ... but it's the ORIGINAL!
