Hey P.R., I've got a 2011, special ordered with all vintage/original specs by prior owner. Is your FB radius 7.25 or 9.5"? Also, if you suss out the follower sheet, let us know what it specifies the pickups to be-- mine are HW Custom 50's. They have a very springy/spanky sound, very '50's and not deep and mellow like the CS '60's at all. Doesn't sound like any other slab-board strat.

And I have to say that '59 Esquire Style C neck fills the hand so good. My favorite neck, too. Just an amazing guitar.

They really are amazing. As far as congratulations, I've had this guitar about 4 or 5 years now. But I congratulate you for also having one! Post pics!!!!

Gladly. Looks like our guitars are virtually the same, except for the color (mine is '55 Desert Tan, according to the shop floor traveler). Same pickups and same neck profile, the important stuff - and I agree, it's amazing. My best one as well.

You have essentially the same Oly White ‘63 I have- the ‘59 is that much better.

They are very different. The '63 neck feels like a sports car on mine, pretty compact. The '59 neck is more interesting stylistically with the Esquire shape. I haven't felt that shape on any other guitar. The '59 pickups are the best of mine.

But the '63 is a great guitar, very close behind, as far as my guitars and my opinion.

Awesome guitar! And cool to see the traveler.

I think the '59 pickups and the Esquire shape combo are hard to beat.
