Released in 1974, I can recall being somewhat disappointed with the album at first, it was really different.

However these days I see it for the underrated gem it was and is, someone posted in here about which song you would like to loop over and over, I want to change my answer to 10 Years Gone By, a very late recognition of greatness.
Got a fav off this double album?

*oof* I was wrong, I guess it was one of their more successful albums which makes question why i thought it was underrated... maybe living in a POS little town next to a military base wasn't the best education of musical quality.

Robert Plant cites it as his favorite LZ album.

Presence sold the least, 3 million copies. But it's one of the best IMHO.....

It is close between TSRTS and PG for me.

Id have to go with Ten Years Gone, aside from Kashmir and In The Light.

It took me a while to discover Physical Graffiti. Late late 70's. I though it was great from the start. I thought it was one of the best from the start.

Bit o' trivia: Presence was recorded while Plant was recovering from a nasty car accident he had in Greece. He spend a lot of his time in a wheel chair during recording and they didn't tour to support the record.

In The Light, to me, wows me more than Kashmir. But later on when Page & Plant redid Kashmir live in the 90's it reignited my appreciatio0n for the song.

    8 new songs and outtakes.

    It's a great record.

    Trampled Under Foot.

Is it Houses of the Holy? No.

But it's four sides of Rock. :)

I dont have any evidence to support my theory but Im pretty sure Barracuda by Heart was inspired by Achilles Last Stand.

Yeah I'm not sure why I felt disappointed, or why I didn't think it was good at the time, and that was the general consensus among the sweet home albama keg going crowd.

Off topic but has anyone else besides me ever noticed how similar in feel the guitar lead work from The Ocean (coda, ending part) and Since You Been Gone by Rainbow.....

It's like both Page and Blackmore are channeling 50s post war positivity and enthusiasm, ragtime, and New Orleans Jazz simultaneously....

They both make me feel the same way....and are both in the same key.....

Physical Graffiti has been my favorite Zep album ever since it came out. I can't pick a favorite song but I can pick a least favorite.

Hands down it's Kashmir. Way too long and repetitive. Cut it down to three minutes or so and I'm in
