Running races today
And my son skippering
A friend of mine does a pretty nice garden so I added a few cucumber and some bell peppers to it last week
Wally Gator in the Coleus and a new Cittronella plant.
Mann Creek Reservoir last week. It was so much fun kayaking through the trees and fly fishing for trout.
Crane Creek Reservoir Idaho today but I forget my phone to take pics. Was a beautiful warm day, lots of Crappie and one pissed off Rattle Snake.
I just missed stepping on a rattlesnake once. That is an incredible pucker producer
The wife almost did. At that reservoir I fish on the cat walk above the diversion dam and the snake was coiled up on top of the winch mounting plate to the left of this guy. It isn't me but I pulled it off the web. The problem is that one was killed by a guy Saturday in the rocks he was fishing and little kids use this area so I didn't want to a kid find it the hard way. You can see the winch he is leaning on. The wife went out on the cat walk herself at first because I was getting my gear out of the truck and I heard her scream.
Are those rattlesnake bites or crappie?
I've got a The View From Here! Check out the inside of my side sewer pipe! Spoiler alert - it's gross.
Crappie, and I have had rattle snake before but at the time wasn't really thinking about eating lol.
you know the old adage "taste's like chicken" my friend was telling me and my brother he's eaten rattlesnake before and my brother said "oh, does it taste like chicken" my buddies reply "nope, taste like rattlesnake"

Day 1 - Flagstaff Blues and Brews Festival
Tab Benoit - He put on a KILLER show. This was the 3rd time we've seen him and while all his shows are fantastic, we felt this was his best show we've seen.
