I caught either 10 sharks or the same shark 10 times

it's a 2 minute ride from home so I can go all the time.

I took my wife there for an anniversary fishing date this afternoon and we only had one run. Whatever it was jumped out of the water and threw the hook.

Do your neighbors across the lake jam with you when you play out on your deck?

Nice composing btw. I like your eye.

Haha I should be so lucky, that just happened to be in the background of what I was shooting. They're neighbors.

The birds do join in sometimes.

    Thanks;)

A whole lot of couples getting married today, they were literally lining up to go through the ceremony then take pictures and get picked up by their drivers. One of which caught my eyes, this fancy nancy Rolls Royce. The driver gave me 20 sec to snap a pic before the newly wed couple jumped in. [IMG]

Yes indeed. It wasn't until the end of the day that I realized that I could switch off the auto focus. I was trying to get a close up pic on my glasses but the auto focus wouldn't let me. Five minutes of frustration later

I would like to find a good manual lens for these things. One of the Nikon lens I have is AF but cover 18-55 which is handy. I have to run that with AF off for best results. The other lens to 70-300. Which is good for portrait and some wildlife. No swans around here though.

It had just rained so all this talk, I had to go out and snap something. My old camera was film and completely manual. So it is taking time to figure out how to run this digital.

I like macro photography. And depth of field is something I want control over.

Lillies have bloomed but it looks like one of them might go again. When they're done I'm giving them to ex sis in law so she plant them for next year. I'll put something else in this pot
