First time I had these was in a bar in Houston about 25 years ago. Absolutely delicious! Great late night drunk food.
But they were just called fried pickles. I guess Anheuser-Busch needs to throw their mark on them.
Fried dill pickle chips are one of my favorite snack/appetizers, especially with barbeque. There is a drive-in, around the corner from my house, that makes batter fried dill pickle spears. Now those are nasty.
On an occasion where I find myself being made to eat a pickle, this is the type that I prefer. They also make a spicy variety without the hint of sweetness. I will drink the hell out of the pickle juice.
