Yeah I’m leaning towards the Lehle, radial or fulltone as all of them have things to correct ground loops and out of hundreds of reviews I’ve seen none mention bleed over from either channel. Figure if I spent $5K between the amps I’d rather spend $160-$200 to make sure the A/B switch is exactly what I want.

The higher end ones lehle tonebone have extra bits and peices. I know the lehle uses high quality transformers to acheive earth isolation so as to eliminate noise issues. The also have phase switch and possinly ground lift and buffering options.

My morley bought in nineties is passive switching with a battery to indicate status. A b y. And the circuit by my examination cannot 'cause' bleed. I can imagine ways the bleed phenomena can happen but its not the aby switchs fault in my case :)

Regardless my Morley has never exibited bleed issues when I have used it. Whats that .. some 25 years or so..

Then don't waste your time nickel and diming, start out with the best on the market! Pick up the 'Lehle Dual SGoS'...it's expensive, but after dropping the bundle you have on your stuff, $350 is nothing.

Don’t need all those features. Likely will use the Little Lehle III as I just need to switch between the two amps. Don’t need to run them together nor do I need the programmable features of the SGoS. Might consider the little Lehle dual in case I did ever want to run them together but my idea is to use the Swart as the clean tones and the Friedman as my dirt for leads kind of like using it as a drive pedal.

I've read nothing but good (actually, great) things about the Lehle ABY pedals.

Yeah they seem to be the “top choice” from everything I’ve read.

I have the basic Radial ABY with isolation and ground lift and it works great with no crosstalk and it is quite affordable.

Something else I was looking at is the Decibel Eleven Split Personality. It has midi functionality and I could put the amp selection on a pedal switcher preset.

B049F11F-C5EF-435A-8E1F-2BFCD80EA56F.jpeg This is what I use with my 2 amp setup. Theres a few good ones on the market but after doing my research I settled on this one and I have no regrets. It’s available in white or black with normal switches or soft switches.
You can read about it here: https://www.fulltone.com/products/true-path-aby

I just started doing that in my spare room with a 30 dollar used no name box. Works like charm. I'll have another setup here in my living room as soon as my amp comes in. That will use an EHX box. Hopefully that will work just as well

Whatever you go with just make sure it has phase correction capability.

You want the speakers of each amp moving the same way when you play.

If I had roadies back when I was gigging, I’d loved to have had a multiple amp setup. I never had a roadie...

yes. you should stop thinking about it and do it.

This is how I run my rig for my new jam project. I have a mesa f100 running my cleans and effects / loops and a Mesa Mark V for my lead tones.

Its just a really really good time...

sometimes I will replace the f100 with a bassman

The fulltone is definitely on my list.

Yes a couple of the ones I am looking at have this but since I don't plan to run both amps on at the same time phase correction is not going to be an issue.

It's better to have it and not need it, than need it and not have it, and it's such a small thing.
