Glad you like it. I had never heard of them before the pandemic. I stumbled across that video on youtube and was impressed

 

It was truly excellent but I prefer Jeff Beck or anything Scott Henderson plays.

 

I have a thing for funky groove stuff, whether uptempo madness like Snarky P and Vulfpeck, or slowed down. Funky groove is something I could happily do for a long time.

While I certainly can appreciate his technique, and obvious years of practice, I did not find this to be at all musical. I had to turn it off after a minute or so. It was exhausting listening to it.

 

Id like to agree with Maple, I prefer things that are melodic=musical. All kind of weird noises, several examples in this thread, dont do it for me. Again tho this is an opinion forum so I accept others opinions and feel that I have the same right to express mine.

 

Kinda like watching someone doing 200 words a minute on an electric typewriter
