I was being facetious
Face stitching has gottten very real… the porno industry will do well with it ( politicians included).:
Sounds like the concept of keeping a perspective within the context of its times might be lost by some. Not saying any names.
You seem embarrassingly fragile, poor thing.
Some have suggested that this is some kind of photo manipulation via computer trickery. I don't think that's the case.
I'm pretty sure it's just a candid photo of the cast when they were young. They just happened to be wearing those clothes, and even though they didn't know it yet, someday they would star on a hit tv show together.
I thought hollywood was going to try and cash in by doing a remake of a show that just can't be remade.
I don't think it would work today.
It's like one of those "had to be there" type of shows.
I am rarely a fan of remakes and reboots. To me it's like... "come on Hollywood, let's try and have an original idea once in a while.."
As far as the photo goes
I really have no idea where it came from or any info on it at all.
I just saw it on the internet and thought it was cool.
I was kidding about them coincidentally being together as kids in uniform, and in that pose. Lol.
Quite to the contrary, sir. Watch the film and think about what they do, and the lengths they go to in order to humiliate and assert their dominance. Sociopaths.
Then Slavery was OK. Gotcha.
I wasn’t there but no one I know who actually did that that work under those conditions described any of the disgusting behaviors depicted in the film ever taking place. They just recalled how tired they were and how much they learned about practicing medicine and about themselves. None recalled having the spare time for getting drunk or exposing a nurse trying to shower or smoking pot during an intramural football game upon which thousands of 1951 US Dollars were bet.
“AntiWar film” as a cheap excuse for living out sadistic fantasies.
As I said, as a 19 years-old child I saw it and thought it was great. As an adult I saw it for the absolute garbage the film and the Series were. Talk about trivializing a horrible circumstances for entertainment.
You are correct, my opinion remains unchanged.
Ah, I’m sorry I ever responded to that picture. I was triggered having just recently viewed the film again on Hulu.
IMHO much of Hollywood hates our vets.
Did you at least like Leave It To Beaver and the Waltons?
lol, a harmless picture led to dominating exploitive sociopaths.
slavery = sitcoms. Gotcha
Waltons couldn't be made today.
Leave to Beaver yes, it was right down my 8 years old cultural wheelhouse.
I never saw Yhe Waltons. Not one episode. It wasn’t an aversion, it just never happened. I didn’t even know what it was about until I just looked it up. I liked Mary Tyler Moore and Bob Newhart, WKRP
My roommate, who was a law student liked the Series MASH when McClain Stevenson was on. Then he bailed too.
Well, it could....
John "Boy" would have to be a pre-op trans.
Jason would have to be anything other than white.
Grandma, black or native American.
Erin would prefer the girls.
And of course, Elizabeth would have to be the 13 year old mother of twins. One Asian, one African American.
Was Alan alda a sociopath? Or was Hawkeye peirce a sociopath?
Can I get an Eric Clapton remark here?
Let's get this shut down before someone gets their feelings hurt.
Eric Clapton had a cameo as an amputated leg...
