Interesting, thanks for posting it.
Wow that's a pretty big deal. Well, after the statement issued by Fender's CEO a few days ago, I would think that the tolerance level for any racial crap posted online by any employee is VERY low right now, clearly, and rightly so.
I am trying to see if my company will issue a public statement. The two partners that run the place seem afraid to address it with even the most basic of statements. I feel that silence shows complicity.
That's precisely why I don't use that garbage. "social" is a misnomer.
I’m sorry, but I’m not touching that one with a stick.
I’m sitting this one out.
Imma sit this one out...
Can't Touch This!
I'm sensing lockdown soon
I’m out too.
When will people finally learn that posting completely insensitive, inflammatory crap on social media, is bad for that individual and basically everyone else?
And these are grown men posting this stuff. They truly know better. Whether it is right or wrong to fire him for this.. it’s truly a senseless attempt at humor, whether he is on the “right” side of the argument or not.
I'm with Pete. "pick up my guitar and play, just like yesterday..."
"That's all right, I still got my guitar." -Jimi
GC yanked Fulltone too
The irony is that Fender just released one of the most well-written and powerful statements in support of the protests I’ve seen yet from any company.
After they released their statement, they could not possibly keep anyone who posted racist crap like this.
I just wish corporations would just sell their ware , and quit trying to be the moral compass of the world. All you accomplish is alienating one side or the other.
