This looks wrong

    7000 for a loaded pickguard? Talk about mojo being pricey... and I bet it won't sound any better than any same specs 2020 built. People are crazy.

    Most of the stuff on Reverb is overpriced! You can find some deals here and there but some just doesn't make sense...like this for example.

    I didn't know any 66's had black bobbins. I figured may some 64's would have them as they may still be cleaning out their old stock. I assumed they would all be gray bobbins by '65 and certainly by '66.
    Shows what I know.

    I smoked a joint with Jimi in 1967 at a beach party. Hollywood Beach, CA He was pretty high and had two 18 year old girls helping him around.
    He had his guitar in his lap but he was too stoned to really even hold it. Still we talked a long time about the war, his music, and guitar pick ups. What a cool dude.

    It would have been a Kodak instamatic with a cube flash. And a two day wait for printing but it would have gone in a frame forever! :)

    We had the best pot at that beach. Everyone came, that’s why it was called “Hollywood Beach”. Sonny and Cher lived there, Humphrey Bogart had a beach house there, Pat Sajack. Duane Allman. I used to sell weed to Pat Morita, who played Mr Miyagi in The Karate Kid. Killer parties. I saw my first naked chi-chi’s at one of the parties.
    And the best weed in America. All the green triangle stuff came there. You’d be stoned for two days after the party. Hahahahaha
    I was a cool 13 year old beach boy! I could score anything!
    I started smoking weed at age 12. Guitar at 13.
    I am truly an old stoner now... :)
