    It's hard to eff up a great tune...but that Aerosmith version sucks wind. Yeech.

    Julie's version is my favorite.

    Joe Cocker's is pretty damn good.

    I met Arthur Hamilton when I worked at MGM. I was the only one besides my boss who knew he wrote Cry Me A River.
    I thanked him for it. He said " I thank that song everyday".

    That JT song is pretty good.

    As a kid ..the first version of Cry Me A River I heard was Cocker's from Mad Dogs and Englishmen.



    My dad heard me playing it in my room and said "I've got some friends coming over Saturday. They'll do it right for you."

    So Saturday came and my Dad had one of his parties. After hanging out on the beach and eating dinner, his friends did the tune.

    Bobby Troup on piano.
    Howard Roberts playing my guitar.
    And...Dixie McCall singing. Yes...Julie London.

    First off...I was blown away that the people from Emergency! were in my house. Second...they killed it. :)
