Strap on if you practice/ play in sitting position?
Hi, @Namelyguitar -Buddy
I usually keep my guitar strap on when seated so it doesn’t face plant if I need to stand and stretch .
Strap it up.
No strap, standing up, on one leg, with guitars behind me…
odd it’s not listed here?
I don’t even own a strap on….
Usually on because my straps stay on my guitars with Grolsch washers. Kind of a pain to keep taking off and on
I always sit to play these days and never use a strap.
Never even thought of using a strap while seated, I’ll give it a try and see if it does anything.
Those of us that play bass with those fingers outstretched might want to strap on. Plus, my Stingray is heavy!
If you pay 2 hundred or 2 k for a guitar... always keep it safe. Unless your into destroying things.
I usually sit and play. Strat is comfortable to sit and play for long periods. No need for strap when sitting. However, I recently bought a Jackson Rhoads which is not comfortable to sit and play. For that I need to use a strap. Break out the Ace Frehley/Rivers Cuomo lightening bolt strap for that puppy.
Always, even when sitiing.
Guitar slides off prosthetic leg socket.
I ALWAYS sling the strap, even if for some reason I laying down.
And if I let another player (even if it's Stevie Ray) play one of my guitars---PUT IT ON.
Do NOT drop that guitar and tell me "I'm sorry".
