That opening track sounds eerily like one of the Scottish bagpipe laments at a funeral. Very fitting. Traditionally, the piper walks away from the assembled congregation outside the church as he plays the closing refrains. It's highly symbolic, and helps to give the mourners a connection to their individual feelings of loss.
