Tone control quest.

I just put new tone pots in the squier s.e. not a vol pot just both tones. Sounds actually lot better. But the tone pot closest to the vol pot when I turn the tone down it kills the volume. Just like a vol pot. . But the volume works as it should.??

check your wiring.
