A buddy of mine called and wanted to get together with me and another guy. Just to BS and jam a little. Friend is a very talented drummer and bass player.

I haven't been to a jam session in years. I agonized over which guitar to take. After going back and forth making a choice between member of the stable, I decided to take the 63 out for it's debut performance with other musicians.

I have to say I'm quite pleased with the sounds I got out of it. My left hand did cramp up with the lead section of the first song, Whole Lotta Love. After that it was all good. Mybe I'm out of shape or it's just that the neck is somewhat thinner than my go to axes.

Either way, a good time was had by all.

Yeah we are locked down, but the county was cleared to start phase 2.5 of the reopening. I haven't been to the office in two months or better. Sitting around the house is getting old.

Sweet guitar! Wish I could get out, my a$$ is starting to get sore:D I'm on "self quarantine, KY didn't go that route, but lots of folks are still laid off or working at home. My Doc wants me wait a while longer before I go out, except to get food, etc. due to my multiple risk factors. Anyway, hope you get the chance to really play the daylights out of that axe, with your "new found free time".

What a guitar ! Must be nice to have such high quality instruments as a “second choice”, makes me wonder what your go-to guitars are :)

My collection has been built over many years. I've been playing at playing guitar for more than 40 years. my axe of choice changes with my mood, but right now it's between a AV 52 Tele and a 79 Anniversary Strat.
