    Thank you, no. :)

I stopped eating beef and pork ~20 years ago for ethical reasons.

Loved those as a kid though...

Nice of you, but not the best food for Fido. Kudos to you to go meat free. I admire those who have made the leap.

I still like the occasional chicken or turkey. Cheese from dairy. Cannot shake that nasty habit either.

    That's dedication! Good for you.

I've had alternative sausage and bacon. Meh. Simply not worth it. The rest I have long since been fine without.

My most recent ground beef substitute attempt is black lentil chili con carne. That is pretty damn good!

I do so miss a proper cheeseburger and Filet Mignon. Various pork sausages too.

the last city i lived in i met a gull who was foraging in a dumpser behind a famous new orleans style bar, but in seattle, and i said to him, the gull, whose feathers were dirty from his task, and he was mildly disheveled and looked nothing like the gulls of the coasts, breeding on sea stacks and teaching their childen to fly in the golden sun, i said to him, "man this city life aint treating you so good." and he replied, "what makes you think it's doing you any favors?"

I actually had a really cool moment a couple of years ago. I got to see eric gales on a tiny paddle boat on lake in ny with about 50 other people. His whole thing these days is he has gotten clean and just wants to inspire people. I got him to sign my strat and was actually able to tell him why I started playing and he was so excited that he took me back to his band to repeat the story for them. My awesome wife thought to record the whole thing. So I have this cool vid of my hero telling my story.

Well Underrated by the music industry for sure, but not by those who know about him and love high performance intense blistering guitar, also including many peers
here are what some guitar giants have to say about Marino and a nice trailer for his Epic Live at the Agora Theater

    Enjoy

The top five influences on my playing is a real different question than top five favorite players.

    My dad.
    My stepdad.
    Bob Dylan
    Willie Dixon
    John Fogerty

For those guys anyone's ever heard of, the biggest part of their influence was from writing songs that I play, songs I've learned from. IDK if Willie Dixon ever picked up a guitar(he was primarily a bass player), but his influence on my guitar playing would be hard to overstate.
