I met with my WW2 vet to present him with the belt I made. I needed to add more adjustment holes to shorten it, and while there I checked the buckle fit. A dilemma arose. He had two buckles he wanted to use. Only problem was the prongs were opposite. Sonic he use one the writing would be upside down. He seemed ok, but that just wasn't gonna work for me. What do you do I ask. Take your ass back to the bench and make the man another belt. That way he can use both buckles and won't have to worry about it. Finishing it up today. So he can get them in time for Veterans Day.
Thanks. It really is neat to refurbish some old leather pieces. Groovy Dave's guitar case handle is a challenge. Wasn't anything there to go by.
