    hello and hope everyone is staying safe... i have 2 6l6gc fender special design..by the codes do we know who makes these tubes...they are from a mid 80s fender rivera concert that i sold but kept the tubes...had them tested and are at 70 and 71.....thanks MAM IMG_1367.jpg

    I believe the two top getter style was a characteristic of Sylvania/Philips/ECG.

    Yes to the above!

    Also the special design request is another tip off.

    There a good sounding punchy long lasting tube in general, but when driven very hard there top can be a little harsh sounding, but this can hinge on the speakers used also.

    12 inches will sound smoother with these tubes then 10 inches in my findings!
