    How often do the TS9 or the 808 footswitches get busted? I dont have a heavy foot, and most of the time I guess it would be on.

    Which one do you guys own/prefer? Ive only ran the TS9 (dont own one), but the 808 is getting my attention.

    I have both, I favor the TS9 the tone is just a bit...(I hate describing tone) punchier.

    Have you considered a Demon? They're cheap and they have a switch to change from ts9 to 808. All in one unit. I really like mine.

    The only screamer I've ever had is an 808. I chose it over the ts9 because I thought it had a warmth that the ts9 couldn't achieve, whereas the ts9 has a bite and crunch that the 808 can achieve. Plus, the DS-1 and Big Muff immediately follow, they can pick up any slack. I really like the setup.

    The 808's button doesn't strike me as breakable. But the led is almost impossible to see.
