If pent scales meant blues, there's an awful lot of Asian music that is the blues.
I dont wanna play with you anymore
Here's You Don't Love Me (Baby). Quite a few artists have done it. It's not one of my all time best but that's OK anyway. I like how the slide sounds on this one. Thanks for listening to my Tuesday Bluesday addition for this week.
here is something i recorded a long time ago in a friends studio. its NOT a blues. but it sounds bluesy. @TheDuck
Sounds great @Swingbass
Wow, that was a really awesome Tuesday Bluesday!
Thanks for joining in with those wonderful submissions, everybody was killing it this week!
I'll start off this week's entries with the Howlin' Wolf tune "Back Door Man". I played my PRS Soapbar II. Those P90's have a nice tone. I used standard tuning rather than open E even for the slide. There are 2 keys that are easy for slide in standard tuning. They are E and G. I hope that you enjoy. Thanks for listening.
Now THAT'S Blues!
Great track @Swingbass
Here's a short Blues jam testing my latest SRV inspired Eleven Rack preset.
Smooth and laid back @dogletnoir
Sorry it's taken me so long to get around to commenting, 3 days in a row of 12 hour shifts
and trying to squeeze in practice time on top of that makes it kind of hard to do much of
anything else, but better late than never, right?
@Swingbass and @TheDuck, you guys took it back home this time around; that rendition
of 'Back Door Man' was some rootsy slide playing with a vocal that reminds me of the Lizard King
himself... and the 'Tin Pan Alley' flavoured Blues Jam was biting, and nasty as a junkyard dog
(in the best sense, of course)!
Just keep on keepin' on, folks!
i know it aint tuesday, but bluesman dont care.....everyday bluesday....
that's alainvey soloing on that one, and i'm doing the other stuff.
Supermoon: The solo work sounds a bit like Jeff Beck, and the atmosphere of the track is really cool. It almost sounds like it was recorded live.
Great work @dogletnoir and @alainvey
I went traditional with this one.
@heltershelton, you are correct...
every day is definitely bluesday, and i always love your videos,
because they are so you!
@TheDuck, sweet tasty riffing and tone there,
and diggin' the doublestops and those trills.
i've been working on this one for awhile now:
This is the latest version.
Freddie is sooooooooo smooth. Nice work!
I may have posted this before, apologies if I have,
I did this w few years ago, it's a Jeff Beck inspired jam
Nice to see Tuesday Bluesday so active
And a great job by all!
