Yeah, I did.
Yeah he probably did. you are right. Im gonna anonymously donate it to a museum and give turtle rescue a grand. And keep raising monarchs and helping bees.
Not hate, disapproves of the purchase. And the casual way you presented it initially.
You might be a great guy for all we know. Someone who made a bad (in many eyes) purchase.
THAT is a good Idea! Still giving to turtle rescue though.
Very honorable. Bees and Monarchs need all the help they can get.
Well this isnt the only dumb thing I have done. I should not have got it.
Well all do dumb things.
I sort of understand the desire to share an unusual instrument with others.
Nah, donate to a learning institution or museum to chronicle was what acceptable in the past. People can learn from that.
Please let us know how it all worked out.
Everybody on this site has done dumb stuff ..... if they say different they’d be telling a whopper ........
Ah, a lesson learned.
You may also F.O. or DIY or YMCA. There need to be consequences for insensitive and frankly stupid actions. A brief and small shunning seems both appropriate and quite humane.
Not everyone announces it with such stark insensitivity.
That doesn’t make their dumbness any less .
I'd have to agree there. Hopefully the feedback has tempered the OP's thinking.
I happen to love the look of fake hawksbill. Replaced the boring black pickguard on my Martin D12-28 and found a cool pickguard for the StratoMutt:
Don't forget the Elephant tusk nut, and the shark fin case with the tiger skin lining
I like the idea of donating it to a museum, and donating money to a turtle rescue
Good thing I didn't say anything about my hawksbill Bass!
Sorry for the capital letters. What's YMCA?
