Couple of really cool shows on Amazon...Goliath, Expanse, Jack Reacher to name a few..

reruns of Star Trek of various styles, ST Picard, ST Discovery...

Nothing on network TV...we don’t get it.

Meh, I dunno it's watchable but there's been a string of these sorts of shows and they all seem kind of the same.

Hard to tell, first couple episodes were really good then it got confusing/convoluted. I need to to do a recap on the 3rd episode and pick it up again. My wife listened to the audiobook and said it was really good so I don't want to bail altogether on it.

The Outsider suffers from the same problem as a lot of current shows: It started out with a great sense of mystery that hooked you as the truth was slowly revealed, but once that happened the show became nothing more than typical and formulaic within its genre (in this case, horror/thriller). I thought Watchmen was similar; it was flat-out awesome at first, then toward the end it fell into the whole "maniacal, super rich megalomaniac with superweapon out to destroy the world, must be stopped at all costs" schtick. Way too superhero-y.

That one Watchmen episode about the old man's origin story was incredible, though. Well worth the price of admission.

I'm a si-fi junkie. It encompasses most of my reading time too.

I only have over the air TV now so my choices are limited. The only show I actually try to watch is the original Perry Mason. 1956-1965. It's been great! Black and white, the great old cars, everyone dressed up all the time. Barbara Hale as Della Street was absolutely gorgeous. There have been so many future major stars in the episodes. Robert Redford was in one the other night and he was so young.

I despise TV. I only watch The Curse Of Oak Island, because I remember the Readers Digest article about it that I read as a child, and I watch the Cubs when games aren’t blacked/out. That’s it. Commercials make me think most humans must be dumb as nails. My wife watches hgtv a lot. Yawn...
