    Hey everyone,

I'm looking into dropping some new pickups into my guitar, and I'm wondering if anyone has any experience with the Gen 4 and Ultra Noiseless pickups.

I'm wondering if the bump in price is worth it when going for the Ultra Noiseless over the Gen 4s.

I'm not worried about capturing the ideal vintage Strat tone but would like to keep it in the same ballpark.

    Thanks!

If you wanna go noiseless get a quality pickup set like the dimarzio areas (in the lincoln brewster strat) or a set of kinmans........you ll have an all around strat without the noise....

Those are more “modern voices” imo - I think the ultras sound very stratty

If you want a vintage vibe and SSL 1 tones, give the Seymour Duncan Classic Stacks 4+ a hard look. They are spot on for 50’s tone. If there’s a difference bt them and normal SSL 1s I cannot tell it.

Agree, the Areas smoke any of the Noiseless pups that Fender ever came up with IMO.

My Elite has N4's and when I add OD and Comp I have to engage the NS. Just a heads up...
