I just love the man's playing.
When I saw Al Green, Hodges and a co-guitarist came out with matching white super-strats, haha.

im surprised noone has said anything about clarence gatemouth brown.
i saw him from the front table in a cozy little blues club in dallas in the early 90s.
he did some really cool stuff with his guitar, like he made it sound like a mad womern griping at him. he was a really good entertainer.

Me, I guess, since I have no rating at all, unless you count my wife asking me to turn it down so she can make a phone call.

Putting this one out there because that Surf Green Tele w/Bigsby is so choice, and Lianne reminds me of my sister.

Where do people get this idea that guitar music is dying out?

I think Vinnie Vincent plays really cool leads on Lick It up. Here’s one of my favourite songs by Kiss:

Aldo Nova is a icon in MTL, being native from MTL, he has work with many french canadian signers. I know he had some dispute with his record company and I think that drove him more toward writing/producing songs for other artists. He has notably worked a lot with Celine Dion from her early days to later and also wrote fron Bon Jovi.

I truly don't know what he does now, but I wouldn't be surprise he still support a lot of artist in the background helping them in the sudio....

The way I understand it, his record company wanted him to move in a "more commercial" direction, and he didn't want to be Peter Frampton-ed.

I would have had it been a general question, or a blues/jazz thing. ;)
