I saw this and figured it's one of those "gotta share" things, so here you go:

I guess it depends on how you roll, but I'd say a solid color finish would be best! ;)

And for those of you who might would like to buy it —just for the special grain pattern— here's the link.

I usually use clear un-tinted shellac for a primer/sealer but I would go with auto body grey lacquer on that one !

I am not a homo phobe but I am surrounded by other git er done types that would never let anyone live that down !

    That is amazing.

I'd finish that in transparent cherry for sure.

The $55 shipping & 6trem kills it for me, otherwise I'd have that thing in my lap for sure.

I know the New Yorker's may disagree, but there is nothing like a Chicago "Red Hot" on a poppy seed bun with mustard, onions, relish and hot peppers. :)

    Now this -

I know a guy that worked in the Illinois beef packing plant and on his first day he was handed (2) 5 gallon buckets and a poker stick.

They instructed him to pick up the stuff off the floor and put the "good" stuff for hot dogs in 1 bucket and the "bad" stuff in the other for the dumpster.

He says when he set them down to do something and came back he could not figure which was which....

Heh - I know a few as well!

Idea: Maybe the worlds needs a guitar body manufacturer strictly focused on providing the world with guitar bodies like that! :D

A self made millionaire I know who once slept on his step children's couch catered to that demographic because no one else treated them like humans. They flocked to him and his wife because of it.

Nice bod, but it will need the correct whammy bar design to "pull it off."

I marvel at the nicknames such an instrument would acquire, finished in a transparent... especially should it gain notoriety by being owned by a performer with a following. Of course some might argue the such an instrument will create its own following, with which I really can't disagree.

I suspect in a finished state that highlights its ahhh...'feature', this "piece" will fetch a tidy sum.
