Wow i love everything about it. Reminds me of those early santanas. The 2 zebras are yummy too.

Yep that is it. They only made 1,500 of them so it was a limited run. They had one at my local GC and it was very nice. Much better than the two standard SE Custom 24's they had. I love my PRS.

It finally arrived yesterday, it’s better looking in person [emoji3]

    Initial observations:

    * the fit and finish is perfect, the paint job, the wood grain, etc, top notch.
    * the rosewood fingerboard is one of the best I’ve seen
    * the plastics are AWFUL, I don’t know who decided that a black tremolo tip went well with cream pickup rings and switch tip, it doesn’t. The cream parts look cheap, as do the pickup bobbins .
    * it sounds ok clean, better on lead, but the low strings get a little muddy, I’m not digging the pickups, will continue to use it for a while before replacing

And here is the requisite picture:

    Very nice, HNGD!

I have never seen any other color trem bar tip than black on any PRS, I don't think they offer them in other colors, Good news it is comes right off then you have the bar with no tip like PRS had until recently on all their guitars or replace with a white or cream.

Yes the cream plastics on the SE models do look terrible. They have a weird greenish hue. I was shocked on how much different and better they looked on my Core Custom 22 than the SE models. They are a proper cream/off white like Fender uses.

The 85/15 S pickups have always sounded muddy to me too on the wound strings. This is the reason I returned the SE I bought in June. The USA 85/15 pickups in my Custom 22 do not suffer this same issue.

For comparison of plastics here is my Custom 22 I bought two weeks ago. Oh and it too came with a black tip on the trem arm.

I've got a 2014 and my trem arm had no tip, just metal.
I didn't care for pickups either (They weren't the 85/15s though) and ended up with seymour Duncan Seth Lover set.
    Huge improvement.

I have the "standard 24" pickups are ok. Have had the guitar two years now, cant put my finger on it, but something is just not right. It is on the plan for fret work and setup in January.

You know it's not polite to cause GAS to the poster of an NGD right? Your guitar is awesome, and now I want a core one too :)

The plastics look much better, I found some of those online and just ordered them.

About the pickups, its good to hear I'm not the only one that finds them muddy, I have a set of SD JB/59 in a drawer and after looking at the bobbins and hearing the muddiness, I will install them here.

It looks a lot better without a tip, I'll try to remove it and if it doesn't have any thread may just leave it bare...

I hated the plastics on my SE so much that I ended up replacing the pickup surrounds and knobs for black. Really popped the top.
