I can't thank all of you enough, you have shown great support and been interested in and cared about what's going on in my life..... So, stage 3 kidney cancer, tumor was growing out of control, kidney was like 4-5 times larger than normal, cancer had grown out of the kidney and had grabbed and attached itself to my spleen and the back chest wall on my left side. We did 4 rounds of immunotherapy. I had a CT scan on Monday July 12th. Results were given to me today at my doctor's appointment..... And..... Tumor has shrunk 1cm all around, it is beginning to pull away from the chest wall and spleen.... AMAZING news.... However, my lymph nodes in the chest are slightly enlarged, which COULD just be from the immunotherapy itself, or it could be spreading...... We won't know about that until we re-scan in 3-4 months..... So, today I am celebrating - I am going to get myself a real beer tonight, just one - a good craft beer - I haven't had alcohol since February when I found out what's going on, and I'm not going 'back to it' - I just want this one. We're going out for lunch soon, my aunt and my mom and dad and I - and just going to relax.... Everyone around me in person seems all stressed and wound up, well mostly my mom and dad. Myself, I don't feel any stress. Today, I'm hoping I can help put THEM at ease....... So - 1/2 pound pizza burger for late lunch to celebrate, and a beer tonight!!! Treatment tomorrow at 10am (once every 3 weeks again afterward), and back on the horse.... Away we go!
