I'd trade a guitar I didn't like for one I wanted in a heartbeat .
I say do it !
If you feel its worth it to you. Do it. You are the one who has to live with it, but it sounds like living with a Mustang is at the bottom of your list. This is one way to get out from under that.
I love 24 scale guitars but already have a Mustang and 2 Jaguars.
Given it can be done in a trade, I'd be all over it..
First fender I ever owned was an early 60's mustang.. Oh how I loathed that thing, was so glad to get rid of it.
While a value of $300 isn't stellar, it's a square deal compared to your trade, and you could do worse. You'll see similar (or not as good) Partscasters being offered at $400+ all the time.
I agree that the pickups and neck make the deal.
then you should have posted that, rather than what you did.
I’m with the T Dog on this. Price sounds reasonable, pictures look good. If it plays and feels good buy it
Looks like he sold it for cash instead, the ad is gone. He made plans to meet up with me Sunday and I asked if he sold it in the meantime to let me know. Of course, that didn't happen.....
WOW! There are people like that in Canada too? And here I've always thought being an inconsiderate jerk was a uniquely American trait! Cheer up, somebody will want that Mustang!
Just My $.02,
Just re-posted it for sale for $280 Canadian firm - $213 US. Somebody's going to want it.....thanks Gene!
Thanks for contributing to the greater good, here, but I've decided I'm not interested in seeing any more of your helpful posts.
This is the correct answer
