    Very cool @davidKOS

I'll give this a try later today. I've actually done very little jamming and improvising since I've returned to regular playing. It'll be interesting to see if I still know how to "speak".

I'm sure it will all come back to you, like riding a bike. I've had to re-motivate myself to get back to music work too.:D

It seems my Southern roots are showing...after all, I am a full-fledged 3rd/4th generation Yat.

    Thanks for noticing, podnah.

Love it, thanks for jamming! that was fun to listen to

".i should've practiced more (always true)"

So should have I! but as you say, always true. Who has ever practiced too much?

Which guitar did you use? the one w/ the CC pickup?

thanks David! it's a very fun track to try and sneak Leo Noncetelli licks into... someday maybe I'll get one right!

it's my tele with the humbucker-shaped CC... its my only intact electric at the moment. my strat/tele hybrid with the neck p90 is benched...

I thought I heard that really nice guitar.

That Tele of yours could cover almost any music I wanted to play.

i like it a lot. thin pine body only 1.5 inches, allparts neck. i might change the bridge to six saddle someday to improve intonation cuz sometimes i can hear it kind of off but splitting the difference with the neighbor string, but truth is i'd rather just play it than take it apart...

    Golly, what's come over me?

i didn't use the Lester after all. Instead, this was played with the Strat i call 'Galadrielle'
(appropriately enough, since that's the name of Duane's daughter)...
one single take of slide in E Major on my HX Stomp's 'Dirty Deluxe' amp setting.

Nice to finally get to jam with you, Mr. Brown... even if it's only remotely!

You were right. It only took a few tries before all of my old bad habits came back :D

It was good to get back to having to think about what I'm playing. I was hearing a southern rock thing on this so I went in that direction. There was a lot of repetition in my playing but I was happy just to get through it more or less unscathed. Thanks for the track David.
