I just want to say Warren Haynes is thr best. I’ve seen him in concert half a dozen times. And have been listening to him for a very long time. He just has a sound that no matter what guitar he’s on. You know it’s him playing. His voice. His guitars voice. It’s just amazing and the live recordings are better than the studio recordings.

Warren is a beast. Saw him with the Allman Bros a few times back in the 90’s and then later with Gov’t Mule. One hell of a player and a damn good singer.

Oh yea, hardest working guitar player out there too, he plays with everybody. First saw him with The Allmans back in 94 or 5 and didn’t know of him at the time. Said to myself man that chubby dude on guitar can shred! Then cut to a year later my buddy is turning me on to the first govt mule cd, and I’m like oh that’s the dude in the Allmans!. Forget it, I was hooked instantly, mainly because that’s just a great debut record. man, every song is awesome, originals, covers, no duds on it. I’ve been to dozens of mule shows since, have many live recordings. But I’ll tell you, live at Roseland Ballroom is the best store bought live cd of the lot IMO, the little Nantucket sleigh ride tease in silver painted light, the St. Steven tease in trane, mule always giving props to the greats before them. They aren’t quite the same since woody died, he was the key to that sound in their early days, always bringing it in the woodshed! I miss him. But yes, Warren is a legend to me, and to be able to sing as well as he does while playing like he does, a gifted man.

One of my favorites. Not only can be play but he's got a great voice for the blues rock and southern soul he does.

    another side of Warren...

Never liked U2 but love his versions of this, both electric and acoustic. His vocals put that pretentious dooshnugget Bono to shame.

He's an animal. Saw him in Toronto with the Mule.

    Face.....Melted.....

Just missed running into him outside the venue. My mate who I was with took his sweet ass time putting his glasses away in the truck we were in......by the time we got out the car park, turned the corner he was just getting back into his bus from signing various guitars and item on the street!

    Insanity!!

Great song and a great work up on it as well. Never get tired of listening to Warren and Derek play off one another. Two of the best.

You don't see that very often. It'd be nice to him on one or a Tele a bit more often

Perhaps you never will. Warren, especially in Gubmint Mule, seems to be polarizing.
