I never really pay that much attention but I do ten to like heavier guitars. My recently acquired Squier CV Tele felt pretty heavy so I drug the digital bathroom scale down to the guitar room to see how much each weighed.

Squier CV Tele - 8.4 lbs
    2020 Player HSH Strat - 7.8 lbs
Spruce Hill Aluminum Tele - 7.0 lbs this one surprised me
Epi Les Paul SL - 6.0 lbs
    Parker P-38 5.8 lbs

I've been on the road all day to Chicago and back and this is the best thing I have to do tonight lol. Going back up there tomorrow to get my wife's Bulgarian passport sorted out so her and my daughter can fly Friday, then it's back AGAIN to Chicago Friday to get them to O'hare. Tomorrow's trip was NOT planned.

Have a safe trip. Since I play seated I have not really thought about weighing them.

My Les Paul is dead on 10lbs.
I could swear that my '78 Strat was at least 10, if not more.

My Jazzmaster is the heaviest feeling, but it is not the heaviest guitar.
The heaviest guitar would be my Epi Budokan LP, and with good reason. It's on-spec for a '74 LP.
only about 100g in it so I don't see that as an issue.
there's less than 1Kg between all of the solid body guitars. even fewer between the chambered ones and the semihollow's are also negligible.

How you play them seems to be the biggest difference to feel. I have different straps and sometimes they make a guitar feel heavy.
Other times, you can't feel it at all.

I stopped worrying about it to be honest.
I've already had neck fractures and playing guitar hasn't made it worse, or better.

I have never weighed mine, and don't have a scale, but I know they are all under 8 pounds, and I know my Baja Tele is 6lbs, 13oz because Sweetwater weighed it.

This thread inspired me to weigh my two favorites.

The ‘78 Les Paul weighs 10.6 lbs
The ‘99 Strat weighs 8.2 lbs.

Never knew that until 2 minutes ago.

I tend to prefer heavier guitars as well. light ones feel too flimsy to me. My Lonestar strat is pretty heavy (no scale) and I will admit that when I was playing nightly in sh%ty clubs when I was younger and dinosaurs roamed the earth. I taped a small face cloth on the stap of my Les Paul(pretty sure it's under 200 lbs.. not a typo) after the second night as my neck was getting sore. I still love that 52 year old guitar though

I've weighed mine. Can't remember them all but I remember my new Strat is 7.5 lbs. and my LP is a shade over 9 lbs. After two back surgeries I tend to like them on the light side.

I had to take my former Les Paul for a drive to get to the nearest weigh station. They kept asking me how many axles it had.

I “weighed” mine by standing on a bathroom scale and having Lisa hand me the guitar. But I recently remembered that we have a baby scale (long story) which is perfect for weighing a guitar, and found my Strat is actually a bit heavier than I thought at 7.5 pounds.

I would never weigh my guitars. They are curvy and gravitationally chellenged and I love them all. :)

    80’s JV Strat - 7 lb 9 oz
    80’s AVRI Strat - 7 lb 13 oz
2013 Sierra Sunburst Ash Strat - 7 lb 15 oz

I also have several recent parts-casters that are 8 lbs or less. I prefer lighter weight and pick parts to keep the overall weight down.

Having weighed them in the past, I know my 76 LPC to be 13lbs.
