I wan't one of these pretty bad actually
I got to play one at Chicago Music Exchange. A very cool guitar, indeed.
I bought it:
As the Ibanez Iceman has already been posted (one of my longest running GAS guitars), I'll go with the Ovation Breadwinner. I have no idea why but it's always appealed to me.
There are none.
Kinda weird I guess but I love the Dean Cadillacs.
Funny...I was thinking about V's, Explorers and various Deans and thought...Nah, those aren't weird shaped
Ones I already own (these aren't my specific guitars, but I own this model and colour):
^^Looks a little bit too "spiky" and "metal" for me to be really on board with the shape, but it plays well.
I've moved away from using Steinbergers and back into more conventional shaped guitars, and mostly Strats, but they are very well designed instruments.
I don't own one, but I thought the Mockingbird Exotic Classic looks cool, I don't really like overtly "metal" guitar shapes as a rule but the natural finish kind of counterbalances the "metalness" and brings it more back in line with its 70s origins, like when Joe Perry used to play them back in the day.
These are the oddest shapes in my collection. That headstock is deadly.
ha! I own the "desert camo" version of the Kamikaze, although it's got a conventional(ish) "banana" headstock. I was tempted to buy the green one too, but ESPs are crazy expensive anyway and I barely play mine, even though it's a good guitar. I'd never be brave enough to play it live, either....
Giannini Craviola, please. One each: 6-string acoustic, 12-string acoustic, and electric.
I second this one.
Also, Id have this one.
And this one:
Actually, I remembered that I HAD bought a wierd shaped guitar, that was in 2005, it's an all-in-one (built in amp, speaker, effects etc.) kinda traveler guitar which I bought when I had to be hospitilized for 2.5 months.
And I just found a couple of pictures I had taken.
It's a Fernandes, I don't remember the model but I do remember it had a full scale neck and it was heavy. I sold it a couple of months after I got out of the hospital.
EDIT: I think the model is Nomad Deluxe
Have you played a EBMM Cutlass or the stingray RS? I'm gasing for one of those!
These are my favorite basses (fretless) and treble guitars
I mean, it's my custom shape so of course I'd buy it.
