who knows? six weeks from now i may have a different reply to the superpower thread.

nausea, hair loss, lethargy, depression... just another day in the modern world, right?

I've got a picc line installed now (bonus: person who took radiographs of installed picc line turned out to be a facebook friend and wildlife clinic supporter!) for the chemo, but an actual port is in the wings waiting for the surgery schedule to permit implanting... and as soon as my four hour chemo session ends today i go to the other side of the hospital for my first daily zapping!

so, yeah, that's what's on my list today...

Not fun but necessary. Wish you did not have to. Good luck and return of good health.

The downside of living is illness and disease. I hope the treatment goes well. Lisa is still in the hospital going on a week, not sure any release date.

My brother went through it about a year ago. It was rough and recovering takes time, but it's a necessary evil. Eyes on the price, you'll get through it.

    Good luck!

As many critters as your clinic has helped to mend and make it back into the wild, I wish the very same to you Monte with your chemo and radiation treatments. At least on some level you'll appreciate anew how some of the animals feel when they are being cared for..... feeling less than stellar, submitting to weird procedures, being kept from doing what you want, feeling trapped.

But one big difference: you also know that ultimately your freedom awaits! :)
