Welcome Chris......while we may all be a little Fender-centric around here, we still like to discuss guitars of all makes. What was it about the LP that you couldn't deal with?

Ooooo, that's purdy! Though I'm biased. I've got a candy apple red/maple lonestar with pearloid pick guard.

I think that is a Strat Plus, I used to have one of those but It got stolen years ago along with my Alvarez Yari and a 69 Pro reverb.

I don't Leave my gear in my car any more even if it is 3:00 am after a gig and I have to get up at 6:00 am to go to work.

If it has 3 golds L/S pups, its a Strat Plus, locking tuners and pearl pick guard/trem cover, also the case should say Strat Plus. Welcome and enjoy it. I have a 97 Strat Plus, they are nice guitars.

Hi, I'm mone from IN, been messing with Strats since '74, still kicking myself for selling my '74 natural with the factory Bird'seye Maple neck, but it did pay for my last year and a half of school. 465.00 bucks brand new with the tolex case.
Sadly everytime I improve my playomg I break a finger or some other Strat essential body part so I am still a hobbyist I guess. So Hello again to my new Strat compadres, time to head out to work.

Welcome to the Forum. I share your pain. I have a LP that I just can't seem to bond with. I refuse to give it up as it was my first guitar, that my daughter and I purchased. It seems I can pick up almost any Strat and it fills right. Good luck. Russ

I once owned property in Florida. I only found out when my parents sold it.
I never even knew I had bought it!
    Welcome, and all that stuff.
