Well... I'm positive I won't be leaving the house for at least the next 5 days

    that helped me!

Listen to your body, when it wants you to rest...rest, then rest some more. Drink plenty of water, eat healthy and make sure your getting enough Vitamin D3 and Zinc.

At this point, i think rest (sleeping) is key...i laid in bed at least 12-14 hours a day since last Thursday (mostly sleeping), today is the best i've felt in a week.

    Hoping the best for you!

Thank you. Felt fine during the day yesterday, in the evening started to feel off (mostly tired).

Low grade fever and stiff neck muscles by bedtime. Called into work for today before going to sleep last night. My wife works at a pharmacy and they were able to scrounge up some rapid tests and send them over.

Today I actually feel as though I could function in society but the test says nope.

Not to mention the indoor plumbing and steady supply of potable water.

Always an upside. It’s always better when the glass is half full.

    Hope your doing ok.

We'll see how the day goes. So far it looks like last night was the worst of it (and even that was totally manageable). I totally see how so many people just brush it off as something lesser a continue about their lives.

I've confined myself to my bedroom (leaving only with a good mask on) as there are family members with no symptoms here. Maybe the rest will get luckier.

I found out last night that I was exposed on January 3rd. Haven't had any problems to speak of, just a little stuffy head, but that's not out of the ordinary for me with allergies. Going today for a test just to be on the safe side, and taking the next 5 days off.

Good on you for staying home and being careful. Maybe we’ll see something from you in the MyMusic forum in the next few days?

Looks like we’ll be finding out over the next month or two how this latest iteration affects the healthcare system and perhaps the whole ordeal will be downgraded to endemic.

Obviously, everyone is different. For me, I started to feel off on Tuesday, took a home test, it was negative...felt worse Wed and Thurs (major coughing and all the other symptoms came)..went to a testing facility on thursday and I was positive. I was exhausted for the entire weekend, even up until yesterday. Today, I'm still off, but not nearly as bad as it's been. I'm gonna keep doing what I've been doing until I'm back to 100%. Body needs the tools to heal..there was a war inside of my body, gotta help it however I can.

Yeah, I've had chronic sinus issues my entire adult life. Sinus infections/pressure, loss of smell, sore throat and cough/sneezing are a part of everyday life for me (the last 30 years anyway).

But I usually run a little cooler than the average temp so getting up to 100 was out of the norm for me.

    Better safe than sorry.

For sure, no point in rushing things.

I feel better (than last night) ATM but typically whatever is going on with me (at any given time) will be more so in the evenings. So I'm certainly not in any kind of clear by any means.

    Yup. Count down has started.

They usually let these go until someone tells someone else how to live their lives (which eventually always happens).

As a covers only player I've never set myself up to record anything and rarely even play at home under normal circumstances.

If YouTube was free to post maybe I'd do it once in a while (for fun) but I have no plans in mind that would make setting something up worth the effort.

I thought there was a discussion earlier about giving the mods (Mansonienne) a break for a while. :whistling:
