Went to GC for the first time in months

Unfortunately it’s always the same, legislation which curtails our freedoms has to be used to protect the majority from the selfish behavior of an idiotic minority and that idiotic minority from themselves.

The problem is that the aforementioned minority are selfish and daft enough to ignore it. It’s the same as drink driving laws. There’re those who advocate making the alcohol limit for driving zero. All that would happen is that some poor old guy would get pulled for having a tail light out, be put through a routine breath test and fail because his medication contained 0.01% alcohol. He’d get a three month ban which he’d honour, struggling home with his shopping on a bus. Meanwhile, the inconsiderate b*****d who regularly drives home after six pints and a bag of crisps would get yet another ban which he would be totally ignored.

 

Wash your hands well, don’t touch your face until you wash them wear facial protection, you should be fine. It’s here, got to live with it.
It’s how I’m dealing with it.

 

Talking about it with a friend, discussing the odds / likelihood of contracting it. He asked me, ‘if you wanted to catch it, what would you do to definitely catch it?’ No, I wouldn’t, so to get it by accident whilst doing the right things does seem a remote possibility.

 

I kind of agree with the stance taken over at TDPRI, any thread discussing Covid, especially Covid restrictions, will become a political discussion so discussing it is cause for a lock.

 

Anything can be political these days. I have nice blue skies overhead.

 

Same. There was a Sam Ash fairly close that was just not a friendly kind of store.

My dealings with independent stores years ago is not any better. One step above pawn shops for pricing, especially for trade ins.

I do not miss music stores at all. Been all online for many years.

I don’t think the ideas are mutually exclusive but I think my point of disagreement is semantic I would say that choosing not to engage in a behavior is not the same as forfeiting your right to engage in that behavior but I think The word freedom is not being used in a “constitutional” sense here but rather colloquially
