all except middle only
Seriously: neck, 2 € 4 on my SSS strat.
Sorry: 2 & 4
At my age? Mostly upright, until nap time. Then it's prone.
I'll be kicked off the forum if I answer this.
Favourite position? 69.... I mean... position 2
Missionary. Everything else is a sin.
2, 4, & 5 is where I jump to on a strat.
Position 5 is why I bought a strat copy in the first place. Lately I'm starting to warm up to position 2.
Slumped over.........oh.....I like tele bridge pickups in some of my builds so, bridge and bridge+ neck.
Not that is any of your business, but upside down on a trampoline in a wetsuit full of warm custard...
Bridge for distorted tones , neck for clean . The other 3 are like a spare tire , nice to have if I ever need them but hope I never do.
I'm too late to make a clever sex pun that doesn't actually mention sex...so...I'll just answer:
Bridge pickup with tone on 5 or 6 and volume rolled to 9 through a plexi. Obviously.
Have you ever tried position 4 with tone rolled down a bit and the volume rolled back to taste, on a pure clean? It rivals the neck. Just enough rollback to remove the ice pick.
Neck, neck/mid, mid/bridge in that order.
My left ear still rings from standing next to Kofi Bakers Crash cymbal for two years.

The in between positions sound thin and weak to me
Neck almost always.
