Man i miss sailing. I lived in a 36ft sailboat for a year not long ago, but up here north it was a cold affair. Winter and the condensation was a big problem. I had a solid german built boat with a crazy thick hull but to no avail. I Dont miss the mooring fees and crazy electricity bills but i do miss the salty air and the freedom to just leave at any time.

I change my interests as often as the seasons. But normally something I can learn how to do.

-Photography: failed! Spent thousands on gear and couldn't compose a shot for toffee!
-Golf: still failing but it keeps asking me back!
-Scale plastic model cars and bikes: not for a while now but maybe when I move I'll have more time
-3D modelling and room design: use it occasionally for work
-Forex markets: trying to understand the mechanics of it. Thats the easy bit. Dealing with the emotions of it on the other hand...?

Other than guitars, I like pianos/synthesizers - I currently have a Roland Juno-G synthesizer. But aside from music in general, I like watching movies & TV shows sometimes, playing PC games, playing board & card games, photography, traveling, and tinkering with computers & technology.

I prefer using a Gold metal detector rather than using all of my other equipment.
Once in awhile I find other awesome treasures.
I few years ago in a remote area but sure signs of mining back in the old days, I have found old coins buried deep.

@knh555 - my dad had a Snipe when I was young. I remember it was a big deal when he got it.

His had the "drain holes" in the transom, like the one in the pic. I always thought we were going to sink. He named the boat "The Hole Thing" LOL.

That’s cool, my nephew is a sailmaker by trade and also an avid sailor/instructor. Been around the globe a couple times.

Hanging out with wife and pooch, love golf (just put a golf sim in the garage), woodworking, writing music and trying to record it.

Woodworking, rc helicopters/drones, old firearms/new firearms, boating/ fishing, billiards. Still have a Harley but the truth is I shouldn’t ride it any longer for health reasons. 48 years and now I’m going to have to give it up.
