There was only ever one colour in this race, the black.

I bough from Allparts, in the US , frankly I see no purpose in paying 3x the price for cosmetic things like this, electronics and hardware are a different decision maybe, but covers and knobs, mostly are all the same. Avoid the rock bottom priced stuff out of the East , it can be nasty, but there are hundreds of good suppliers in China as well

White on a Strat, black on a Tele. Black plastic on a Strat brings back bad memories of the 1970s.

That's what I figured! It's just plastic and any plastic company could make them, but at the same time part of me says get Fender buddy you know you want to! Lol
    I'll have a look around...

Black brings out the flame best.

Personally I prefer pearloid, but I noticed that is the true "white" and not the aged white pearloid (parchment shade)

If I had a choice I would always opt for the aged white pearloid - but it's not something I'd want to use black pickup covers or switch tips / knobs on. That's the thing about some colours - they require a lot of "additional work" to bring out the full effect.

So stick with the black one? I dunno.

100% non-committal on this one. could go either way.

I like the white pearl too but as you said it's got to be aged white! I'm looking on EBay ATM for some. As you said finding your strats look takes time as I'm finding! I've pull off and replaced three pickguards today and I'm done for now! Lol

Black goes well with the edge of the guitar.

There are some color bodies black pearl looks good on (to me, most really don't seem to like it).
That color is not one of them ;)
Ya... of the three options, I think black is the nicest after Tort.

White pulls too much attention from the nice flame.

Of the 3 I’d go with black, but tort is a classic look. Beautiful paint job on that one

White looks good on any body colour. Black works on Black. Tort looks like ****e on everything. My favourite is Mint Green on a Red Ash body.

Andonized gold and Mint green are two options that look good on anything.
