At least where I live in Ontario, you have to know the right spot to get pizza from. Otherwise you can get some pretty gross stuff (like Pizza Pizza)

They do know though, they're missing out on a horrible pizza.

It was in Victoria. But pizza or not, if I could live in Canada, I would. Love it up there.

Yeah it wasn't fun but it's life. The folks were only a mile from the shop so Pop was here almost everyday. Even when I was crazy busy it was nice to see him. He loved pizza too. No pineapple whatsoever.

This was more his speed. Peps sausage and a little onion.

Damn @CarbonCanyon … We have too many miles between us. I am near Richmond. Virginia. You are making me seriously consider buying a wood fired pizza oven.

I need to figure out my dough recipe. I remember it starting out like, 100LBs Pilsbury XXX Pizza flour. A little much for a home kitchen.

I do a naturally leavened pizza. Sourdough. No yeast just flour water and salt. It's nice and light.

Go for the oven! Super fun and you can do all sorts of stuff in it. I closed the restaurant and did thanksgiving in it last year. Worked really well. You can build one relatively cheaply or you can buy kits these days.

You can break a formula down to get 4 or 5 dough balls. Totally worth making your own. For home pizza my favorite is cast iron pan pizzas. I think those work out the best.

I have got to try that! I have 1/4 sheet pans I use for Sicilian style but you do not get the burnt crispy cheese edge. Hmmm... I do have a Dutch oven big enough.

Hmm. Saw the thread. Obviously as a pasty English type I have no real authority over what is a “good” pizza and what isn’t.

    There is a difference though.

Stereotypically I feel like every Italian (maybe outside an urban agglomeration) wants to help the stupid tourist- otherwise not.

I wish my family never moved from Spanaway. But that the Army for ya. If you like where you are, they will send ya someplace miserable.

Had to do it. I was skeptical but man it’s fantastic.

Breakfast pizza is rad. Although you don’t generally go to a pizzeria for breakfast pie.

For the record I love pineapples but it anywhere near my pizza.
