Currently, I have no job. Where I last worked went out of business.

Not good. I'm 'between careers' lol. I am exploring videography. I'm old enough to have gone through a few careers though; graphic artist, theater management, animation, education. The thread that has connected them has been interesting.

Work as an Operations Supervisor for the fleet Operations Unit of the KCPD. A fancy way of saying that I am no longer a paid Automobile technician but I supervise a crew of Techs that work on police cars. We are actually employees of the PD but are not LEO's. Before getting promoted to Supervisor I was a, and sitll am but just now acting as one, certified Master Automobile Technician. Before getting back into the Auto industry I was a Project Supervisor for a construction company...another position that I worked my way into from the bottom. I also worked in home improvement retail for a while as well as being a crane operator in a steel foundry. When in college, I was an Ride Operations Supervisor for the amusement park here in KC and was responsible for all of the rides and lives in 1/2 of the park on any given day for two years.

    Comedy Hypnotist.

    No, really. Comedy Hypnotist.

Which, admittedly, is an odd way for a middle-aged man to make a living.

But sometime in the next few years I hope to retire and spend all my time playing guitar.

Craftsman/Tradesman that has now evolved into a troubleshooter/scapegoat role. Pays well & the firm provides a vehicle/gas card-got a few more years before I retire & possibly look for something part time to occupy myself if I feel the need.

Started out as an electronic tech installing and servicing two-way radios for emergency services, police, busses, private companies, etc. Moved onto servicing computers and eventually developing software. Been doing software development for almost 30 years now. Software development used to be a creative outlet for me, but now it's just a job. Thankfully guitar and music filled the creative gap for me.
