Last night while playing my guitar I decided to take the input jack plates off with the 2 simple screws just to take a look. Just to see. You know. A gander
What I found was quite the cob job where they just shove a giant drill into the body to make enough space for the input jack and clearance for your cable no cleanup of any kind that part obv comes after they paint the cavity and it was just a mass of rough splintered wood dust and pieces. Obviously that's a Squier for ya(not a big deal to me) as they're not going to take the time 2 drill it 1st and paint something that isn't seen to perfection but I'm wondering if anybody has ever taken a look in there or owns like a MIM or MIA and has seen it finished?

Your input jack is on your amp. Why are we showing pictures of our output jacks? :sneaky: Sorry, had to do it.

And I also have a mysterious hole on one of the walls on the inside that just goes right into the body into nothing
