    That's really not true, is it? If you're referring to the 1962 Strat thread, you suggested that removing the neck on an old Strat (either to check the neck date or to adjust the truss rod as Leo intended) could damage the guitar by "stripping the body holes". A few of us pointed out that that is total BS.

    Does having the truth pointed out to you constitute "harassment" where you live? It really doesn't round here.... o_O

    There are 2 kinds of people : the kind that runs around always saying "there's two kinds of people" about
    everything. The other kind of people don't buy into that sort of thinking. I am squarely in the camp of the latter.

    "We're All Bozos on This Bus" Firesign Theater's 3rd or 4th album. Excellent satire (IMO) on the human condition...

    That's ridiculous. There are way more than two kinds of people. In my opinion, of course.
    That being said, there are only three things you need to know about me:
    a) I'm always right, or:
    b) I'm never wrong
    c) When in doubt, refer to either a) or b) as the case applies.
    Thank you for your diligence in this matter.:rolleyes:

    Read an 8 year old thread yesterday that a newbie dragged up from the dust, and cobwebs of the ST basement. Seems this forum has changed some what for the better on some views, or hasn't changed, depending on your point of view.
    Onward and upward we go.:thumb::D

    It's jealousy, insecurities or other issues THEY have Tony. This is a great forum and we are fortunate to have you, Kelly (helter) Fezz, Lonn etc. I could name many more, but my point is, don't let one bad apple ruin the bushel. Just my .02

    A person's posts most definitely will strike you differently depending on your own circumstances. I had a pretty crappy scrappy bunch of stuff back and forth with someone and it sure seemed like he was a real problem. The fact that I was busy purchasing a suit so I could drive a long way and attend my Dad's funeral had NOTHING TO DO WITH my reaction to that person's posts.
