Positive Grid Spark amp
Fender ‘57 Tweed Deluxe Amplifier.
Most likely the last really expensive piece of gear I’ll be buying for quite a while. And probably inexcusable anyway, since I’m sure I’ll still mostly play my JTM45.
I can’t really justify having two amps of that caliber, but I’ve always wanted a Tweed Deluxe, and I was in the mood for some extreme retail therapy.
I have an old, unused Hot Rod Deluxe, an Origin 50 head, and an extra PA system to sell on Craigslist to fund it.
Selling them will be my project for next week.
The amp is supposed to be here on Saturday.
But, the odd thing is that I actually ordered it on Monday, and it was originally supposed to be delivered today. But, Sweetwater shipped it to Saint Louis via the middle of nowhere Ohio. Which doesn’t make a ton of sense.
I live in St. Louis. Sweetwater is in Fort Wayne Indiana. FedEx shows the package leaving Fort Wayne, and heading way East into Ohio. Where it is right now. Which, I’m no geography expert, but seems to be the opposite direction of where the amp needs to wind up.
How is that cost effective?
There is one like that, but a 2002, near me for sale. What did you pay?
Nice! I've never seen one that color. What is it? Or is that the std red color or whatever they use?
Fairfield Circuitry Barber Shop and I’m in love with it!
Second cab for my Egnater Tweaker
Bought earlier this week but only received yesterday, this counts, if for no other reason than because I say it counts;
1. G10 greenback for my Orange rocker 15 combo
2. Fulltone fulldrive 1 because who doesn't need another overdrive?
You're assembling a CAB pluscaster? CAB? I'm at a loss, candy apple blue, perhaps?
IF I ever get the delivery
Candy apple blue, correct
I hate pedals, but I shoulda got one of these a long time ago.
Loaded HSS black pickguard with black knobs to replace the black with white knobs SSS setup on the Strat Performer
Carbon fiber pickguard and trim pieces for the Les Paul.
One 10 ft LiveWire right angle to straight, gold tipped guitar cable.
Yesterday, a 1967 Vibrolux Reverb.
I have one of those compressors from Behringer. I found another from Mosky Audio that's a clone of the Keeley C4 Compressor and got that a couple of months later. Turns out that it's quite a bit better than the Behringer for the same price.
Because of that, I also went to them to replace my crappy Behringer digital reverb pedal that, drowns out the guitar signal the more you add reverb. Sounds like **** TBH. The Mosky Spring Reverb pedal is much better. I, can, crank the reverb and the guitar signal never gets any quieter, like it does on the Behringer.
3 pack of Super Slinkys for 11.99 at Sweetwater for Guitar Month. Ends today.
1 step closer
More picks! Out for delivery: red Sharkfin picks. Trevor Rabin!
Just ordered a Mosky Audio Chorus & Vibrato pedal called the Ch-Vibe. Coming from Japan. I've been eyeballing a JHS AT+ clone from DemonfFx, also.
Hilariously, I ran across counterfeit JHS AT+'s(same exact markings, even jhs) that's selling for 3x the price of a real one lmao
Mosky also has a Boss CE-2 clone called the Classic Chorus, I think.
Ordered another pedal. It's an Analogman - King of Tone clone pedal from Demonfx, called King of Drive. Comparing the electronics to that of the Analogman shows it to be a very close clone. So, we'll see how it sounds. Expecting it to be a pretty good pedal given their history.
I started to order the AT+ clone from Demonfx but I realized I like OD > distortion and the AT+ is a distortion plus boost pedal. It sounds amazing but it's just a little too much, I think. Really high gain lead tones aren't my thing currently.
Just one of these to hang guitars for photographs.
