I just bought my dream guitar. I’ve been looking for one of these for years and finally pulled the trigger. 1986 AVRI ‘62 in surf green

Just scooped this up for a partscaster build for my youngest nephew he's 12 will be his first guitar. Following along his older brothers guitar journey.

Have a Classic Vibe 60's neck/loaded pickguard that I got for 120 bucks locally for the build. Little rascal is gonna have a killer guitar for very little money. Neck I freshly level'd/crowned/polished/rolled.

I know as I'm finishing this up im gonna look at him and look at the guitar and wish I built it for myself 😆😆

Just ordered 2 specific size Faber Tone Lock tailpiece spacers. I thought I'd be able to use the middle height of the 3 sizes out of the 1st set I bought I can't because it's still still too tall. And I'm already using the shortest spacers so I ordered 2 more instead of buying the whole set of 3 sizes. It's only $9 for the 2 or $27 for the whole set.

I didn't get 10 packs of strings either. Brook Mays said it was an old listing for something they no longer offered and I could return it for a full refund or get a partial refund so I only paid regular price for the single pack of strings.

I told em it wasn't my fault they didn't keep up with their listing and that I thought they still owed me 9 sets of strings because they need to honor the sale. Because the ad clearly stated 10 sets of exl110+. But they wouldn't budge so I returned it.

I got this Bose EQ for the 802 speakers. They were really sounding flat, and I remembered that old adage - No highs, no lows, must be Bose. That's why they tell you not to use the speakers without the EQ. It makes a big difference.

I also pieced together little stands so I could swivel them, or move them to standard PA speaker stands if need be.

I just have to paint some black Duratex on them, and maybe add some amp corners.

I've wanted a travel 20 for several years now! I almost traded my Marshall for a combo unit but when I got there, it wouldn't fire up. After doing some research I found that it was an issue with the combos only and no one could ever get it figured out. Egnater would only replace them for you...if you had the original bill of sale, that is.
I would still love to get a head unit though.
