One of the great lines in movie history...

A cop asks the girl..."do you have any ID?" to which the (hillbilly) girl replies "ID 'bout what?".

It's almost as bad as seeing Christopher Walken dance...

According to the great and mighty Google, that song actually went to number 1 in the UK. Alrighty then. Now someone coming up with the whole Monty Python thing in the UK makes more sense now...

Maybe so, but any time Ive ever heard the word musical I run the other way. The only “musical” I’ve ever actually paid to see was Rocky Horror Picture Show, just because it was so outrageous when it first came out. Yes, the first movie to take sci-fi to “bi-fi”.

Here’s where I wish I had better powers of repression because now I just can’t unsee that .

It was all over the radio when it was released, everybody loved to hate it, but you just couldn't avoid it here.

LOL. How many of us would deny a playback of some of the things we did when young?

One of the few musicals I've watched more than once. I thought it was a pretty good movie and the singing was OK i.e. it fit the movie.

Only because I’ve been seeing him on some infomercial regarding some pain remedy like daily. So he’s like fresh in my mind... unfortunately

This would not be complete without this smash hit of Pat Boone doing HENDRIX:

It’s ok officer, I’ll go quietly now...

FWIW...I love that Pat Boone record. It's sacred cow-tipping at it's finest. :D

I’m also a huge Eastwood fan - whether it’s the old spaghetti westerns, Harry Callahan or even the more recent stuff - he’s done some incredible films. I saw a show a long time ago where they were paying tribute to his career and somehow they got on topic of his love for music (maybe tied it in with the movie “play misty for me”). He got up and played piano - he is a pretty good pianist (which someone pointed out earlier), but he is also apparently a huge jazz fan - just goes to show how multidimensional and talented some of these actors really are.
